Bebe Zeva

I almost would like to put her under the "Obsessed" category. Bebe Zeva is young, cool, smart, and uber stylish. If only I was seventeen again! Her maturity and taste level are unparalleled, especially in Vegas, where this fabulous antique sofa and her fabulous blogging self can be found.
She not only has had a documentary about her created, but she has been featured in Elle, GoaG, and about a million other fashion pubs.
Her blog, Fated to be Hated, http://www.ftbh.blogspot.com/  is definitely worth a read.
Can't wait to see her style evolve!!

Foster The People

I have been an Incubus fan since I can remember, but, as of late, I've been quite obsessed with the sounds
of Foster The People.

From someone who has tried to make something legitimate out of sound, but who has only managed to be able to achieve respectable creation out of images and fabric, I madly respect musicians!!
I'm sure they would try and fail to construct a corset,
but if we were all the same, the world would be a boring place.
This is a shout out to my new favorite band.

Anna Dello Russo surely doesn't give a hoot about what anyone says about her style.
Such an inspiration!!
Color! Avant Garde! Out of the Ordinary! Pure Amazing! What Fashion Should Be!
Um, I love her by the way.

Here she is looking smashling smashing in a shoot for Net a Porter's magazine.

I am style stalking her FOR LIFE!!!

Calling all amazingness.
My two idols in life (if I could only choose two) are Salvador Dali and Thomas Jefferson.
When Dali was 3, he wanted to be Napoleon.
When he was 5, he wanted to be a female cook.
When he got a little older, he realized that he was Salvador Dali,
and that he wanted to dedicate his life to becoming the best Salvador Dali that he could ever be.
Enough said.

Oh Anna. Oh Karl.
How the fashion world is obsessed with the both of you.
And how elegant Anna looks even when she is giving us all the bird.
Although they are both seemingly untouchable, I have had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of both icons, and am pleased to say, that they are VERY NICE!!!

John Galliano, WTF!?!?!
As a young fashion student, many mentors always asked you to name your favorite designer.
My answer was always : John Galliano.
His story of studying in the UK and making his name in the fashion world from nothing was always so inspiring for someone like me, who is in the process of doing the same thing.
I guess it's hard to remember what it was like being a "little person" once you're on the top. Because apparently, all of the luxuries and drugs that come with money and fame have taken over his mind.
I was so excited to hear his speech at the Fashion Fringe in London last season, and after he got on stage and mumbled a few sentences, I was more than disappointed!
And now the whole court thing.
Of course he's off his rocker, and indeed everyone has an opinion, whether it be about religion or not, but in my opinion, JG needs to stop snorting things up his nose and go back to being an inspiration.

Michaelango said that whenever he sculpted, he would uncover the image that was hidden within the rock.
He wouldn't sculpt with a pre-conceived image in his mind, more so, he would reveal the image that the stone was trying to let out.
That's the way I feel about fabric in fashion. Designers are setting a material free, giving it life, and letting it shine as a form of art as opposed to manipulating it into something it's not.

THE LAPD.
They suck. Period.
Having spent a ton of time in New York City, I feel that the NYPD have definitely earned
bragging rights against the "Lazy Ass Police Department."
These guys act like they live in a movie.
The run red lights, smoke weed, and frankly I never see them working.
I have to say that I'm not upset with them for pulling me over or giving me a ticket or anything like that,
I'm merely upset with them for
NOT DOING ANYTHING AT ALL!!!

I want all badges turned in! They would look much cooler as a fashion accessory than stuck in the
back pocket of some fat, lazy man who's income my taxes are paying!
